FinaMetrica Solution Scores High Profile Win

FinaMetrica has won a high-profile international award for its risk profiling system at the Family Wealth Report Awards 2014, which are unique in that they are judged based solely on entrants’ submissions about client experiences.

The inaugural Family Wealth Report Awards 2014 showcase ‘best of breed’ providers in the North American private banking, wealth management and advisor communities. The awards recognise companies, teams and individuals deemed to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during 2013’.

FinaMetrica won the award for best Risk Profiling Solution in the wealth management technology category. The award recognises the best “technology solution to help wealth managers assess and document the risk appetite of clients”.

The Family Wealth Report Awards 2014 are run by ClearView Financial Media, a UK-based business intelligence provider to the private banking and wealth management industries. The Awards were presented during a black-tie dinner at The Metropolitan Club in New York on March 13.

FinaMetrica’s risk profiling system has also been short-listed as a finalist in ClearView’s WealthBriefing Awards 2014 for Switzerland & Liechtenstein and its separate European awards. Those awards will be presented on April 3 and May 15, respectively. FinaMetrica has entered its solution in the Risk Profiling Solution categories.

FinaMetrica has also entered its solution in ClearView’s WealthBriefing Asia 2014 Awards for Singapore and Hong Kong and the inaugural WealthBriefing Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Region Awards 2014. Finalists have yet to be announced for those three awards.

The Family Wealth Report Awards 2014 are unique in that they are judged based solely on entrants’ submissions and responses to a number of specific questions about the client experience rather than quantitative performance metrics.

The Family Wealth Report Awards 2014 were decided by a high-profile judging panel which included some of the very best operators in the private client and wealth management industry: Thomas R Robinson, Managing Director, Educational Division, CFA Institute; Kunal Vaed, Head of Digital Strategy, E*TRADE Financial; Scott A Winget, Senior Managing Director, Center for Wealth Impact, Ascent Private Capital Management; and Loraine B Tsavaris, Senior Client Advisor and Managing Director, Rockefeller & Company.

FinaMetrica’s risk profiling solution has attracted widespread international acclaim and usage. The solution, which is a web-based risk tolerance test, operates in 23 countries and is offered in seven languages. The test is easy to complete and takes respondents just 15 minutes to complete. A risk tolerance report is then produced immediately, with a score of between 1 and 100 assigned to respondents. FinaMetrica’s test is objective and backed up by statistical analysis that it is valid, reliable and accurate.
